An event dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of Victims of Political Repression.
31.05.2022. The event "Бірлікке басталған қасірт жыл", dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of Victims of Political Repression and Famine, was held at the Higher Medical College of Zhezkazgan. This event clearly demonstrated to the students that in the history of our people, along with the era of His Majesty, there were many such significant moments as "tar zhol taigak keshken".
We recall the sad times of the past, when Philip Goloshchekin, who came to lead our country in 1925, adhered to the policy of conducting the “Little October” Revolution in Kazakhstan. As a result, the nation's intellectuals were subjected to mass persecution. Goloshchekin began to persecute those who opposed him, to destroy them.
Activists who joined the campaign under the slogan of collectivization "Асыра сілтеу болмасын, аша тұяқ қалмасын" led to the death of more than 40 million cattle in the republic. The population was subjected to mass starvation. During the years of famine, about 1.5 million people died in the country. The Kazakh people had been getting to famine for almost half a century - it showed how terrible this villain was.
The evil policy and unholy actions of Soviet totalitarianism did not elect a single country, not a single person. In the 1920s and 1950s, millions of people were repressed in the Soviet Union. Many Kazakh personalities have become victims of left-handed politics.
The event was organized by the teacher of the Kazakh language and literature Kenishbaeva Gulzeynep Tusupnazarovna.
